(WBRE/WYOU) — A virtual public meeting on the Scranton to New York City Rail Corridor Project will be hosted at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19 to accept feedback and provide an update on the work.
PennDOT says they will host the meeting to engage the public in the process after the project received federal bipartisan funding.

To join the meeting, interested parties can register in advance at Advancing PA Rail.

A recording of the meeting will be available on the Advancing PA Rail website for at least 60 days after the meeting.
The train route last served passengers in 1970, and the entire right-of-way is still intact.
