MUHLENBERG TWP., Pa. – Berks County is stocking up on sweets and treats ahead of Super Bowl Sunday.
The Dutch Maid Bakery at the Fairgrounds Farmers Market in Muhlenberg Township is once again serving Super Bowl themed cakes, cupcakes, and other treats.
They have Seahawks and Patriots designs and so far, they say they’re seeing more Seahawks fans.

The bakery says this year is not as crazy as last year when the Eagles were in the big game.
“We haven’t gotten quite the same rush that we had last year, so our ladies aren’t as stressed out. They are able to make the cakes at a little slower pace, which either way we didn’t mind, and we’re happy to provide those cakes,” explains Co-Owner Gabrielle Ramirez.
The owners say maybe more Patriots fans will stop by tomorrow.
The bakery is open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Meanwhile, Dietrich Meats Country Store in Greenwich Township brought back a game day favorite.
Football-shaped sweet bologna and Lebanon bologna are still available. Employees say they are very popular at Super Bowl parties.
People can stop in, or the store ships some to different parts of the country.

“I think it’s a traditional food from years ago…there’s all kinds of different foods here that people come from far and wide that people come here to remember from year’s past,” says Dianne Geschwindt, employee at Dietrich Meats.
The store also sells the football-shaped bologna as part of a platter with cheese.
