WHITEHALL, Pa. – From his fleet of foot fly-by, to his Nike’s literally taking air.
Inside Dave and Buster’s, 17-year-old Antoine is a man on a mission of being in perpetual motion. The teen is one of 3,000 Pennsylvania foster kids looking to make a stop in a permanent home.
“One of his favorite things is to run fast. He’ll make up little stories, and he’ll ask you what you think about it,” said case worker Marian Kolcun.Â
“He is very social, we’ll take him to one of the fast food places, and see someone he knows, and say, ‘hey, how you doing, I saw you at school,'” she said.Â
Aside from cracking digital plates, Antoine loves working with power tools, and at least here, he’s got wrist power to access any game.
For Antoine, building relationships is part of his real life DNA.
He also returned an gifted Nerf gun in fear of safety for his friends, instead settling on a groovy lava lamp.
