TO GET BACK TO SERVING HUNDREDS OF CHILDREN IN THE AREA. ONE YEAR AGO TODAY, A FIRE DESTROYED THE KIDS BUILDING THAT BELONGS TO UNITED METHODIST CHURCH UNION. TODAY, THE CHURCH REVEALED ITS VISION TO REBUILD. IT’S OUR GOAL TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE THE KIND OF SERVICES THAT ARE NEEDED TO HELP WITH HEALTH AND TO HELP WITH THE STRENGTHENING OF THEIR EDUCATION, THEIR LITERACY, AND THE EXPERIENCES FOR THE FUTURE. THIS IS THE VISION FOR THE NEW KID BUILDING FOR UNITED METHODIST CHURCH UNION. IT WILL SERVE YOUTH RANGING BETWEEN 6 AND 16 YEARS OF AGE, WHO WILL PARTICIPATE IN AN AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING PROGRAM, SIX SUMMER CAMPS AND FIELD TRIPS. CHILDREN ALSO PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS RELATED TO MUSIC, THE ARTS AND NUTRITION. MEALS ARE ALSO PROVIDED AFTER SCHOOL AND ALSO DURING THE SUMMER WHEN SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED. THE STORY THAT WE SEE IN EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD AND, YOU KNOW, REBUILDING A COMMUNITY, YOU KNOW, SOME PLACE THAT EVERYBODY GATHERED AND WORSHIPED AND WAS PART OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD. AND NOW BRINGING IT BACK IS ALWAYS HELPFUL TO EVERYBODY. HELP BY DONATING AND TO GO TO CHURCH, UNION ORG OR KIDS ORG AND MAKE THAT DONATION TO HELP US TO BUILD EVEN A LARGER FACILITY THAN WHAT WAS HERE PREVIOUSLY. UNITED METHODIST CHURCH UNION HOPES TO BREAK GROUND ON ITS NEW BUILDING THIS YEAR AND HOLD THE RIBBON CUTTING IN 2027. COVERI
