Dozens of City of Erie employees gathered at the Yehl Ballroom for a hands-on learning environment to better assist with the new administration.
The session focused on improving workplace communication, problem-solving, and building stronger connections across city departments within the transition goals the mayor had.

“We’re going to talk about outcomes, then we’re gonna have each department talk about how their own goals need to align. Then we’re gonna mix them up, have them sit with other departments, break down some silos and talk about shared work together,” the mayor said.
City leaders said the goal was to create a more efficient and supportive workplace, ultimately leading to better services for residents across Erie.
