OBITUARY

We are very very sad to announce the sudden passing of our very dear and beloved sister Mary Ethel Hensley on the morning of February 3 after being admitted to Geisinger CMC hospital in Scranton. She was 76 years old.

Mary Hensley was always lovingly addressed as Mary Ethel by her family and all those who loved her. Born December 21, 1949 in Scranton to Joseph W. and Ethel I. Miller Hensley, she attended St. Paul’s School and graduated in 1968. She was employed by Triple A Trouser for 10 years. Mary Ethel was very shy and quiet. She loved doing crossword puzzles all her life and lived at home for many years. In her older years she resided at Oak Ridge Nursing Center in Taylor, PA., formerly Riverside Rehab, and lived there for about 15 years until her passing.

Mary Ethel had two brothers, Jospeh M. Hensley, the oldest, who passed away in October of 2023, and her younger brother, David Hensley, who still resides at home, and sister Pamela Selemba who lives in Kingsley with her husband Charles. Our very dear and very precious Mary Ethel was greatly loved by all her family and friends. She will be most especially missed by her brother David and sister Pam.
