Pittsburgh Police are investigating an overnight stabbing that sent a man to the hospital in the city’s Allegheny West neighborhood.Police say it happened on Western Avenue Friday evening, just before midnight. According to the preliminary investigation, a fight took place inside of an establishment on Western Avenue when a man stabbed another man once in the abdomen. The suspect then fled the scene.The victim, who has not been named, was taken to an area hospital. At last update, he was listed in stable condition. Police say the victim and the suspect knew each other. It’s still unclear if any charges have been filed. The investigation is ongoing.
