Sadie Jones scored 10 of her 12 points in the second half to lead Montrose to an upset win over No. 8 Mountain View, 36-35, on Friday night in a Lackawanna League Division III girls basketball game.

Montrose is tied with Mountain View at 11-1 in the league with two games remaining.

Carley Frey added seven points and Myckenna Kublo had six for the Lady Meteors (13-7 overall).

Emma Thatcher scored 12 points, and Montrose limited Addison Kilmer to six points for Mountain View (14-7, 11-1).

Susquehanna 41, Carbondale Area 38: At Susquehanna, Kiera Burke scored 11 points, with eight coming in the second half, to lead the Lady Sabers to a Division III win.

Esther Davis added nine points for Susquehanna (4-15, 3-9).

Maureen Newcomb made seven 3-pointers and finished with 24 points for Carbondale Area (2-18, 0-12).

Elk Lake 49, Lackawanna Trail 23: At Elk Lake, Madyson Casselbury scored 18 points to lead the Lady Warriors past Lackawanna Trail in Division III.

Kendyl Weisgold added 10 points, and Lacy Ayotte had eight for Elk Lake (12-7, 8-4).

London Lisk scored nine points, and Ayla Seigle added eight to lead Lackawanna Trail (3-17, 3-9).

Forest City 42, Blue Ridge 36: At Forest City, Makayla Zaverl scored 13 points, while making four 3-pointers to lead the Lady Foresters to a Division III win.

Kayla Pecko added 10 points for Forest City (8-12, 7-5).

Abigail Gelinger scored 26 of her team’s 36 points for Blue Ridge (8-11, 5-7).

North Pocono 49, West Scranton 24: At Scranton, four Lady Trojans scored in double figures in a Lackawanna Division I win.

Ella Clementoni led the way with 13 points, 11 in the first half. Celia DeCesare and Anna Clementoni each scored 11 points, and Julia Biko added 10 for No. 2 North Pocono (16-4, 10-2).

Mia Tallo paced West Scranton (3-16, 0-11) with 12 points.

Valley View 55, Delaware Valley 28: At Valley View, Cora Castellani scored 21 points to lead the fifth-ranked Cougars to a Division I win.

Ava Gazoo added nine points, and Alivia Yurkovic scored eight for Valley View (15-5, 8-4).

Brianna Waldron scored 10 points to pace No. 9 Delaware Valley (11-9, 3-9).

Scranton 67, Wallenpaupack 42: At Wallenpaupack, Chrissy Jacklinski scored 20 points and made four 3-pointers, and Rhylee Bell scored 20 points, to lead the sixth-ranked Lady Knights to a win in Division I.

Jaelyn Alers scored 19 points for Scranton (9-11, 6-6).

Abby Cykosky scored 14 points, and Lily Mancino and Lillian Williams each scored 10 for Wallenpaupack (7-12, 2-9).

Dunmore 56, Holy Cross 38: At Holy Cross, Michelle Nidoh scored 15 points to lead the third-ranked Lady Bucks past rival Holy Cross in Division II.

Janaya Martin scored 11 points, and Jackie Brown had eight of her 10 points in the second quarter for Dunmore (17-3, 12-0), which has clinched at tie for the Division II title. The Lady Bucks hold a two-game lead over Honesdale with two to play. They visit the Lady Hornets on Tuesday.

Ava Schmidt scored 13 points, and Mollie Urban added 12 to lead No. 10 Holy Cross (10-1, 7-5).

Honesdale 46, Mid Valley 33: At Mid Valley, Lily Murray had six of her 12 points in the first quarter, and the sixth-ranked Lady Hornets earned a win in Division II.

Karsyn Kromko and Olivia Reed each scored 11 points for Honesdale (16-4, 10-3).

Mackenzie Richards scored seven of her 11 points in the fourth quarter for Mid Valley (3-17, 0-12).

Riverside 41, Old Forge 38: At Riverside, Caitie Beecham scored seven of her 14 points in the fourth quarter to help the Lady Vikes secure a win over Old Forge in the Triboro Rivalry game.

Layla Welch scored eight points, and Kiley Williams added seven points for Riverside (12-8, 8-4).

Ava Arnold led Old Forge (6-13, 2-10) with 10 points.

Western Wayne 37, Lakeland 18: Khloe Mistishin scored 19 points to lead the Lady ‘Cats to a Division II win.

Raeleigh Kromko contributed seven points for Western Wayne (10-10, 6-6).

Olivia Beier led Lakeland (7-13, 3-9) with eight points.

Boys

Tyler Lombardo led a balanced scoring attack by host Delaware Valley in a 63-43 win over No. 5 Valley View on Friday in a Lackawanna Division I boys basketball game.

Trey Newton scored 14 points, Harrison Bixby added 13 points, including scoring eight in a 23-point second quarter by the Warriors (12-8, 5-7), and Colin McGarvey scored 12.

Valley View played without leading scorer Cash Roe, who is injured and likely out for the remainder of the season.

Michael Muto led the Cougars (16-4, 8-4) with 15 points.
