ALLENTOWN – Muhlenberg women trying top get back over the .500 mark as they host Gettysburg, the second place team in the Centennial Conference.
Good start for the Mules as sophomore Veronica Dawson nets 12 points in the first quarter and the hosts raced to a 22-8 advantage.
Second half was a different story, however, as the Bullets held Muhlenberg to just 15 points over the final 20 minutes to overtake the Mules.
Kimberly Hawkins and Olivia Jones led a balanced Gettysburg attack with 14 points each. Dawson led all scorers with 18, but the Bullets prevail 56-49.
