After the fire at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Dickson City, Jefferson Health confirmed the building’s structural integrity and thanked the first responders.
DICKSON CITY, Pa. — Following the fire at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Dickson City on Wednesday, Jefferson Health issued and update on Saturday regarding the condition of the hospital.
According to Jefferson Health, Structural Engineers confirmed the hospital remains structurally sound.
Jefferson Health CEO Joseph G. Cacchione expressed his thanks to the community and the first responders who fought the fire.
“I want to again extend my sincere thanks to the first responders whose swift actions protected our patients, visitors, colleagues, and the surrounding community, as well as to our dedicated teams who have worked tirelessly in the aftermath. Their commitment and resilience continue to guide our efforts as we move forward together,” said Cacchione.
Beginning on Tuesday, February 10th, 2026, numerous orthopedic office locations will open.Â
