FLINT, Mich. (WNEM) – The Firebirds jumped out hot at the Dort Financial Center with Kevin He scoring just over a minute into Flint’s game against the Erie Otters.
Mason Courville would be called upon to make some crucial saves and stopped 28 of 29 shots tonight.
In the 2nd period, Jimmy Lombardi scored off some great passing to make it 2-0 and then Nathan Aspinall followed that up with a goal of his own midway through the period.
Erie would avoid the shutout though as Flint wins it 3-1.
