Bernard G. Didden
OBITUARY
Rev. Bernard G. Didden, 89, of Myerstown, PA, passed away on February 3,
2026 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in
Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Rev. Clarence H. and the late Emma G.
(Light) Didden. He was the loving husband of Patricia A. (Kitchen) Didden.
Bernard spent a lifetime as a Pastor to Exeter Bible Church and New Hope Bible
Fellowship in Lebanon, PA. He taught at the Reading Bible Institute and was a
member of the IFCA- Eastern Division. Bernard loved sports, especially the
Philadelphia Eagles, going on vacations to Florida and scenic drives across
Pennsylvania. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Myerstown.
Surviving Bernard, in addition to his wife, Patricia, are his son: Jonathan D.
Didden, husband of Sue; 2 daughters: Lorraine Yatron, wife of William and
Gwendolyn Becker, wife of Brian; brother: Theodore Didden; 2 sisters: Constance
Brownback and Sylvia Smith; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sister: Patricia Ann Didden.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 10:30am at the
Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro,
PA 19508. A viewing will be from 9:30am-10:30am at the funeral home prior to
the service. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.
