HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — The Republican Party of Pennsylvania announced its endorsement for Lt. Governor this weekend.
Jason Richey, an attorney from Pittsburgh, is the GOP’s pick for the post.
He was chosen by State Committee members from across the state.
According to the party, he is “a seasoned attorney, community leader, and the Chairman of the Republican Committee of Allegheny County.”
The GOP endorsed Stacy Garrity for Governor in August. She, in turn, endorsed Richey in late January.

Also this weekend, the Democratic Party announced their endorsements for Governor and Lt. Governor, choosing incumbents Josh Shapiro and Austin Davis respectively.
