LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion shared information on recent crimes in the township.
These incidents occurred between Jan. 20 and Feb. 7.

Feb. 7
Attempted Theft from Vehicle (Penn Valley) – The victim reported that they were woken in the early morning hours by an unknown actor attempting to enter their BMW which was parked in the driveway of their residence. The actor fled in an unknown direction. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
Feb. 6
Theft from Vehicle (Rosemont) – The registration plate of the victim’s Honda was removed from their vehicle in the overnight hours while parked in the driveway of the victim’s residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Jan. 27
Theft from Vehicle (Belmont Hills) – The victim’s unlocked Honda was entered and gone through sometime over the past couple of days while parked in front of the victim’s residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Jan. 23
Attempted Theft of Vehicle (Wynnewood) – The victim’s Lexus had the sunroof smashed out, and the roof of the vehicle was attempted to be removed. The incident occurred sometime over the past week while the vehicle was parked in the parking garage of the victim’s apartment building. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Jan. 20
Theft from Vehicle (Bryn Mawr) – The victim stated that sometime over the past week the license plate was removed from the rear of their Nissan while parked in a township parking lot. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
