Edward J. Lowe
OBITUARY
Edward J. Lowe passed away in Pennsylvania on February 2, 2026. He was born on December 19, 1944, in Staten Island, New York. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen O ‘Toole Lowe, with whom he shared 34 years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Erin and Frank, and to his late son, Edward. He was also a loving stepfather to Tara, Ryan, and Billy, and a cherished grandfather to Samantha, Courtney, Julia, and Jessica.
Edward resided in Wallenpaupack Lake Estates, Pennsylvania for more than 22 years. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Navy veteran aboard the USS Shenandoah. He worked as an Elevator Mechanic with Local 1 for 40 years, a career he took great pride in.
Ed enjoyed baseball and golf, maintained a lifelong interest in history, and found simple joy in taking golf cart rides through the lake community. Above all else, he cherished the time spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Services will be held at Scalia Funeral Home in Staten Island, New York on Monday, February 9th, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be held at St. Clare’s Church in Staten Island, New York on Tuesday, February 10th at 9:45 a.m., followed by burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Edward will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love by all who knew him.
