EXETER TOWNSHIP, PA. – Berks County Boys basketball counties begin on Monday. Exeter clinched their division this season well ahead of the competition in Division 2 with a 14-8 overall record.
A huge county quarterfinal matchup on Monday. #5 Exeter taking on #4 Wilson West Lawn.
“We’re playing in one of the most competitive counties in like the district. And the state so like the teams that we play, whether we win or lose, is getting us prepared for the harder teams and those harder teams that we’re going to play out of conference are helping us for the teams that we’re going to play in the county. So, like it helped us overall.” Said Jayden Ware.
Aidan Dauble added, “Our non-league schedule is pretty difficult this year. And I think we attacked it with like the right mindset. I think we got some good key wins out of league a few like key like games that we played. Was definitely senior night against York. We had 92, which is great to see everyone like come together. And like, have like a good team moment right before playoffs.”
