A discount variety store chain is coming to South Side Easton, replacing a CVS that closed last spring.
Dollar Tree will open for business on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 620 Old Philadelphia Rd. in Easton, according to a sign on the door. The building has been undergoing changes over the past several months, including new signs and cleanup inside the store.

The store offers office supplies, party supplies, home decor, crafts, food and toiletries at a discounted price.
Dollar Tree has three other locations near Easton: on Nazareth Road in Nazareth, on Sullivan Trail in Forks Township and on Southmont Way in Bethlehem Township.
CVS was a longtime occupant of the building until it closed in April 2025. A spokesperson cited population shifts, consumer buying patterns, store and pharmacy density, pharmacy care access and community health needs as reasons for the closure.
