A Lehigh Valley brewing company is thanking its patrons as it sets to close one of its locations.

Weyerbacher Brewing Co. announced it will close at 518 Bank St. in Emmaus on March 29.

“This decision was not ours. Our lease will not be renewed, and despite our best efforts, our hands are tied,” an online announcement said. “It’s a tough moment for all of us who have poured time, energy, and love into making this taproom a true community home. I want to express my deepest gratitude to every single person who has supported us — whether you stopped in for a beer, came out for trivia, shared a laugh, or helped us build the atmosphere that made this place special. You are the reason this taproom became what it is.”

The taproom opened in May 2024 to replace Funk Brewing.

Other Weyerbacher locations include the original one at 905 Line St. in Easton as well as one in Allentown that opened last June at 448 N. 17th St.
