Upper Darby police are looking for a Philadelphia woman to turn herself in after a road rage incident.

Police are looking for Imeera Burnett, 21, of the 7500 block of Brookhaven Road in a road rage assault that occurred near 69th Street Terminal.

According to an incident report filed by township Detective Desiree Forlini:

On Monday at 6:42 p.m. Upper Darby police were dispatched to Fairfield and Larchmont Avenues for the assault from a road rage incident.

The victim, a 21-year-old township resident, told police she was in the eastbound lane in the 7200 block of West Chester Pike when a black Dodge Charger changed lanes causing her to have to slow down quickly in traffic.

The victim, whose window was down, yelled towards the Dodge.

At Terminal Square, Burnett got out of the Charger and punched the victim in the face while the victim was seated in her vehicle.

A passenger in the Dodge escorted Burnett back to her vehicle and they left the area.

The victim suffered a facial injury but did not need treatment by medical crews on location.

The victim was able to photograph the back of the Dodge including the license plate and with that police identified Burnett as the suspect.

The victim was able to pick out Burnett from a seven person photo array.

“If you know Burnett’s whereabouts, or if she sees this message, we urge her to turn herself in immediately,” Upper Darby police said in a Facebook post. Contact police at 610-734-7693 or through any of the department’s social media outlets.

“Her actions were completely unacceptable. Its complete nonsense. Turn yourself in,” said Police Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt.
