OBITUARY
Theodore Stanley Konish, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of family on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia.
Born in Scranton on August 29, 2025, son of Kristopher and Jacquelyn Capo Konish. Teddy fought courageously against a rare neurological disorder with strength and bravery until the very end. Although his time was short-lived, his love and joy will live in our hearts forever. As Teddy’s final act of kindness, his legacy will live on through his gift of life as an organ donor. He will always be our guardian angel.
Our family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the medical staff and nurses of Janet Weis Children Hospital of Danville and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Also surviving is a sister, Leah Konish, Peckville; paternal grandparents, Robert and Diane Konish, Peckville; maternal grandparents, Angela and William Capo, Dunmore; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 7:00 PM in the Robert E. Decker Funeral Home, 702 River St., Peckville. Friends may call from 5:00 PM until time of service. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Scott Twp.
The family kindly requests that those attending calling hours feel free to dress casually or wear your pajama pants in loving remembrance of Teddy and to reflect on the comfort and love that surrounded him.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to St Joseph’s Trinity Center, Dunmore or The Ronald McDonald House, Danville.
