There’s plenty to do in the Lehigh Valley this weekend, for time with your partner, kids and friends during the season of love.

Here’s some of your best bets for events to check out.

Share love with special Valentine’s Day menus at these Lehigh Valley restaurants

Wine time at SteelStacks

Wine lovers can stop by The Winter Winefest & Market, which will return to Bethlehem for a fourth year on Sunday.

It’s a classic 21-and-up showcase of wine camaraderie for friend groups and couples, as the event also features a raffle and a selection of vendors and retailers, according to the event’s website.

The event, hosted by ArtsQuest, features wineries such as Sango Kura, Franklin Hill Vineyards and Vineyard Hill Cellars. Thirteen wineries are slated to participate in the event, with nine market vendors.

If you go: Ticket prices vary, with two sessions at the event: 1 to 3 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. More information can be found at artsquest.org.

Franklin Hill Vineyards from Bangor was on display with many fruity choices during Sangriafest Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, at Grange Park in Upper Macungie Township. Wineries from around Pennsylvania were on hand, as well as lawn games, vendors and more. A Billy Joel tribute

Lots of amateur singers love to sing Billy Joel’s “Piano Man.” But for Wade Preston — who performed in Joel’s Broadway show “Movin’ Out” — his impressive vocals and talent led him to be hired for rehearsals and soundchecks by the man himself.

Now, Preston is putting together “A Night of Billy Joel Music” on Friday night, a tribute concert as part of the Bell Tower Concert Series in Bangor.

The event features Joel classics and a “delicious lasagna dinner,” according to host Belltower Cultural Center.

If you go: Event is at Belltower Cultural Center, 2904 Church Road, Bangor, 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite.

Snowshoe with a partner

Whether new to snowshoeing or not, a free Saturday event at the Trexler Nature Preserve will offer opportunities to learn snowshoeing and animal tracking in the Schnecksville wildlife.

Called “Snowshoe with Your Sweetheart,” this Valentine’s Day event is organized by Wildlands Conservancy, a Lehigh Valley organization that “protects and restores natural areas in the Lehigh River watershed,” according to its website. Funding for the event was provided by Northampton County.

If you go: Bundle up for the outdoor event at 5375 Old Packhouse Rd., Schnecksville. Event runs from 1 to 3 p.m.

‘You are the rom and the com’

Want to replicate the storyline of “When Harry Met Sally?” Or, the newer-released rom-com “People We Meet on Vacation?”

Now, you can — sort of — create your own love story with your partner, or someone else you heavily trust. Taking place in Easton, Good Human Improv Company will host a Valentine’s “date night drop-in,” where as a movie night alternative, guests can partake in improv games “designed for couples,” according to the Easton performing arts theater’s website.

“Instead of seeing a romcom at the movies, you are the rom and the com in this playful adventure,” a blurb on the website reads.

In addition to the improv activities, couples can expect champagne toasts, chocolate-covered strawberries and a “supportive and fun atmosphere,” according to Good Human Improv Company.

If you go: Event starts at 5:30 p.m. at 916 Northampton St, Easton. It’s expected to last 90 minutes (if dinner reservation times are at stake). Tickets are $75 per couple, and can be purchased at goodhumanimprov.com.
