Budgeting takes time and thought. That’s what students said at Union City high school for the financial reality fair.
This fair is designed to prepare students for any financial responsibilities they’ll face in their adult life. Sophomores and seniors chose a career field before the fair and then met with representatives from several local companies to go over exactly how to use their median income.
This is a program that Erie bank posts in many other school districts, so that students can prepare for money management beyond the classroom. Around 140 students attended this financial reality fair.
