Last year, a jury found Nicholas Dombek, 55, of Thornhurst Township, guilty of stealing art, antiques, and sports memorabilia from museums in our area and around the country.
Investigators say Dombek led the eight-person ring and melted down several of the stolen items.
His co-conspirators have all been sentenced.
Dombek must also pay $2,753,266 in restitution as part of his sentencing in Lackawanna County.
