SCRANTON — Senior Katie Bena hit a pair of 3-pointers for the Lycoming College women’s basketball team, as it fell, 104-29, in a Landmark Conference matchup against second-ranked University of Scranton on Wednesday at the John Long Center.

Scranton (22-0, 15-0) scored 50 points in the first half and led for 39 minutes against Lycoming (7-15, 3-12).

Senior Kami Abdo led the Warriors with seven points, while Bena drilled her second and third 3-pointers of the season. Sophomore Jocelyn McCracken – a Jersey Shore graduate – also scored six points and pulled down three rebounds.

Elizabeth Bennett led Scranton with 20 points and five rebounds, while Kasey Kranson scored 19 points. In total, 15 Royals scored in the game.

The Warriors will finish their three-game road trip on Saturday with a Landmark Conference showdown against Moravian University. Tip-off from Johnston Hall is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Valentine’s Day.
