The Dunmore Lions Club recently dedicated a new bench in the borough along East Drinker Street. The bench was donated by the Jimmie family in memory Thomas J. Jimmie Sr., a longtime member of the Dunmore Lions Club, past president, chair of its 5K race over the years and community advocate. This was the first bench of seven to be dedicated in the borough as the club prepares for its 75th anniversary. Three more benches have recently been donated.
