Harborcreek Township invited the public to showcase their latest retail store that gives back to the community.

An open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at the area’s newest Goodwill store Tuesday afternoon, allowing everyone to get a first look.

Folks touring the grounds, to meet the staff, and learn about community outreach with donations.

The new store was a result of a collaboration between Goodwill and the Erie Regional Chamber Growth Partnership.

“If you are looking for a cause or a good purpose to recycle, we’re the biggest recycler in the nation other than the government,” said Phillip Johnston, the CEO of Goodwill Northeast Ohio and Northwest PA.

The store’s grand opening is Friday, October 24.
