A man died after falling from scaffolding in Downtown Pittsburgh Thursday morning, public safety officials said.
The fatal fall was reported around 11 a.m. Thursday. Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Officials did not immediately identify the man who fell.
Liberty Avenue was closed Thursday morning between Market Street and Fifth Avenue.
Detectives are investigating.
