Crews contain vehicle fire in Reading Hospital parking garage

Fire crews were called to a vehicle fire inside a Reading Hospital parking garage Thursday afternoon, according to emergency reports.

The fire was reported shortly before 4 p.m. at the Fifth Avenue garage in West Reading.

Videos posted to social media show flames fully engulfing a car in the garage.

Fire crews stretched a line and contained the fire by about 4:05 p.m., reports said.

There were no reports of the fire spreading to other vehicles.
