Sacred Heart campus chapel blessed in ceremony to maintain Catholic identity | Allentown Area

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Part of a religious-based hospital in Allentown got a special blessing on Thursday.

Bishop Alfred Schlert led a re-dedication Mass in the chapel of St. Luke’s Hospital- Sacred Heart Campus.

The chapel was recently renovated after it suffered water damage caused by a leaking roof last year.

The event signifies the hospital’s investment in maintaining its Catholic identity.
