PITTSBURGH, PA — Nemacolin, the Fayette County luxury resort, has been named Pennsylvania’s top hotel for 2026 by U.S. News & World Report. The rankings highlight more than 31,000 hotels across more than 400 destinations.

Overall, the Laurel Highlands attraction was rated 28th nationwide. The only other Pennsylvania hotel finishing in the top 100 was Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center, which finished 74th.

Here’s what U.S. News had to say about Nemacolin:

“Occupying 2,000 acres of southern Pennsylvania near Ohiopyle State Park, Nemacolin comprises a massive selection of accommodations. The suites in The Chateau were inspired by the famous Ritz in Paris and feature crystal chandeliers and marble bathrooms.

“In a very different fashion, Falling Rock pays tribute to Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural
style: This boutique boasts a heated outdoor pool, deep-soaking tubs and stand-alone showers, providing a more secluded, romantic escape, according to recent guests.

“The Grand Lodge offers ornate decor that resembles an English country inn and evokes a cozier feel. Of the options, many previous guests recommend staying in Falling Rock for its soothing atmosphere, friendly customer service and gourmet Aqueous restaurant. For another fine dining option, check out Lautrec. Prefer lighter fare? Dine at Mulligans.”

The Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh, Omni Bedford Springs Resort and Spa, Omni William Penn Hotel and Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel ranked within the top 25 hotels in Pennsylvania.
