Fred Zantowsky
OBITUARY
Fred Zantowsky, 47, of Dunmore, died on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. He is survived by his wife, Diana Anuszewski Zantowsky.
Born in Carbondale, he was the son of Fred and Donna Evans-Wallo Zantowsky, and he attended Lakeland and Scranton School District High Schools. He was employed in the trucking industry as a driver.
Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley Davidson, and hanging out with his family and friends.
Surviving is a daughter, Makayla Zantowsky, Scranton, and grandson, Xavier Nelson; son, Frederick “Freddy” Zantowsky III, and grandsons, Frederick and Zachary, two sisters, Melissa Matcheson and Yvonne Maculloch, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgil and Alma Jean Zantowsky, and Richard and Barbara Evans.
