Five children and two adults escaped a burning home early Thursday morning in Pittsburgh’s South Side Slopes.Fire crews were called around 1 a.m. to the 2300 block of Salisbury Street, near the border of the city’s Arlington neighborhood. Pittsburgh Public Safety officials say the fire was found in a wall on the first floor of the home and quickly extinguished. Everyone inside was assessed by medics.
