Carbondale Area Junior/Senior High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) competed Jan. 9 at the Regional Leadership Conference at the University of Scranton.

Following a dominant performance with 19 first-place finishes, 40 students officially qualified to represent Carbondale Area at the State Leadership Workshop in Hershey in April.

The three Serkosky siblings, Claire Serkosky, Matthew Serkosky and Evan Serkosky, notably achieved first-place finishes in their respective events and will be attending the state competition.
