The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office reported that a 13-year-old boy was pronounced dead Thursday, February 12, at 9:31 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest. The child died from injuries sustained in the fire.

The blaze broke out shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, in the 60 block of North Welles Street, according to authorities and previous reporting from FOX56. Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames coming from the home and worked to rescue those inside.
