ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) — A Lehigh Valley man will spend decades behind bars, accused of setting row homes aflame and displacing dozens on Boxing Day a few years ago.
Santos Mota-Ramirez, 61, of Allentown, was sentenced Wednesday to 20 years to 40 years in prison.

He pleaded guilty in a plea deal to criminal attempted murder, felony causing a catastrophe, felony arson, felony aggravated assault, and misdemeanor simple assault.
Allentown Police accused Mota-Ramirez of setting fire to row homes in the 700 block of West Cedar Street in the city on Dec. 26, 2024.

Six homes were damaged and 30 people were assisted by the American Red Cross and other agencies.
