The Friends of the Scranton Public Library are having a book sale Tuesday, March 3, through Saturday, March 7, at the Marketplace at Steamtown on the second floor in the area in front of Crunch Fitness. There will be fiction, nonfiction, adult, children’s, DVDs, CDs and audio books, and large-print books. The prices are from $1 to $2 with children’s books from 25 cents to $1. The hours of operation are Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday only patrons may buy a Friends tote bag for $5 and fill it.
