A principal of a high school in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, has been placed on administrative leave following accusations of sharing inappropriate content on social media.

Abington School District Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Fecher shared in a statement that the administration received allegations of inappropriate social media posts made by Dr. Alice Swift, the Abington Senior High School Principal.

Dr. Fecher said that Dr. Swift has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation.

“The administration has support in place at the high school to ensure continuity of operations and a stable learning environment for students,” Fecher wrote.

Fecher informed parents about the allegations in an email that read in part:

“I am writing to inform you that, effective February 12, 2026, Dr. Alice Swift has been placed on administrative leave. The District received allegations of inappropriate social media posts and is investigating the matter. During this time, Mr. Ronald Brison, Assistant Principal, will provide leadership and support at the high school to ensure continuity of operations and a stable learning environment for students. We understand that any change in school leadership, even if temporary, can raise concerns, and we appreciate your patience and partnership as we navigate this situation. We will share additional updates regarding Dr. Swift’s return as more information becomes available.”
