Leo L. Naumovitz
OBITUARY
Leo L. Naumovitz, 95, a resident at the Green Ridge Health Care Center, Scranton, and formerly of Dickson City, died Wednesday, February 11, 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife, Valeria Grabiec Naumovitz, who died February 12, 2017.
Born in Jessup, he was the son of the late Clement and Mary Kohan Naumovitz, and he was a member of St. Adalbert’s Polish National Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Jermyn High School, and before retirement, he was employed by RCA Corporation, Dunmore, as a tool and die maker.
He served with the Army Air Corp. attaining the rank of Sergeant First Class.
He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, and brother who enjoyed traveling and vacationing with his family to Florida and the Jersey Shore. He enjoyed fishing and picnicking with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
Surviving are five children, Carol Hubicki and husband, Joseph, Baltimore, MD; Robert Naumovitz, Dickson City; Joseph Naumovitz and wife, Elke, Millington, MD; John Naumovitz and wife, Kim, Midland, Mich.; and Mary Ann Naumovitz, Dickson City; grandchildren, Christian Hubicki and wife, Emily, and Alexa Moreland, and husband, Brent; Anna Brillembourg and husband, Dwight, Stefanie Haines and husband, Richard, Timothy, and wife, Karen; Jennifer Roller, and husband, Nicholas, Heather Blahut, and husband, Aaron, Sarah, and Joshua Naumovitz; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, John Naumowicz, Clark NJ; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Florence Zomro and Mary Foulkrod; brothers, Clement and Leonard Naumovitz.
