LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — First responders were called to a crash in Leacock Township Monday that left a vehicle damaged and on its side.
The wreck happened around 4:53 p.m. in the area of East Newport and Cattail roads, according to Intercourse Fire Company, whose crews responded to the scene.
The fire company said the vehicle struck a tree before overturning, and photos from the scene show the vehicle suffered heavy damage to the front and brought down part of a small fence when it hit the tree.

It was initially reported that the crash caused someone to be trapped inside the vehicle, but firefighters arrived to find that was not the case.
EMS crews were also called to the scene, but it’s unknown at this time how badly anyone was injured.
Pennsylvania State Police also responded.
