A popular bacon-themed restaurant has announced its reopening day in the Lehigh Valley.

The Bacon Strip will reopen at 7 a.m. Tuesday at 18 N. Second St. in Coplay, about a year after a fire forced it to close.

The menu includes bacon-based dishes such as sandwiches and wraps as well as burgers, pancakes, soups and chili.

The restaurant hours will be 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Emily Alkhal opened The Bacon Strip in 2015 with her fiancé Ruben Santiago.
