If people were thinking about about hitting the road this summer? There were plenty of makes and models on display at the RV and Outdoor Adventure Expo.

As Brandon Boyer, the Owner of Boyer RV explained, “This is a great point if you are doing your fact finding missions. You can look online all you want, but until you can get in it and really appreciate it and what there is to offer and the room and amenities there are.”

Boyer RV has been a staple at the RV show for over twenty years and staff said it’s a great outlook for the upcoming season.

“The RV shows are great because it really gives us a good indicator at what people are looking for. We get good feedback from all kinds of customers that are looking for big fifth wheels, to luxury, to starters”, said Boyer.

Boyer said they have seen a lot of first-time customer this year.

The RV show not only gives customers a chance to see if RV-ing and camping is for them, but it also helps boost the economy as people from all over the region come here for the event.

The Bayfront Convention Center stays busy through the winter with competitions and events which helps Erie’s winter tourism economy.

Ed Snyder, the General Manager for Erie Events said, “It’s a great activity for Erie and the Bayfront and all these events bring in people from all over the region, from out of state from Pittsburgh and Buffalo, so it’s really the reason the convention center is there to draw economic impact.”
