A tour of the exhibit includes a re-creation of Valley Forge during Washington’s encampment. Another section showcases artifacts unearthed during a major archaeological dig conducted during the museum’s construction, such as a whistle, a wine bottle seal, and a plate.

“It really is just a time for us to all celebrate together in these founding ideals, in these stories that unite us all together, and to dig deeper into our history,” said Sarah Winski, senior director of exhibits at the National Constitution Center, about the appeal of the exhibition for visitors.
