A Carbon County man died Friday after the SUV he was driving collided with a tractor trailer, according to the Northampton County coroner.
Francesco Scutari, 86, of Towamensing Township, died in the crash just before 9:40 a.m. on North Best Avenue (Route 145) at Spruce Street in Walnutport, according to authorities.
Scutari was the sole occupant of the SUV, according to a statement from coroner Zachary Lysek. Scutari died from multiple blunt force injuries and the manner of death was an accident, Lysek reported.
