A man is dead after a crash in Northampton County

Police say 86-year-old Francesco Scutari from Palmerton was pronounced dead at the scene after a crash in Walnutport.

WALNUTPORT, Pa. — A man from Carbon County is dead after a crash on Friday in Walnutport.

First responders were called to the crash scene along State Route 145 in Northampton County for reports of a crash and entrapment.

Officials with the Walnutport Police Department say that’s where 86-year-old Francesco Scutari from Palmerton was found.

Police say Scutari was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is still being investigated by authorities in Northampton County.
