Jan Thomas Richardson
OBITUARY
Jan Thomas Richardson, 73, of West Scranton, passed Wednesday at home with his loved ones at his side. His wife is Cynthia Bohn Richardson.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, he is the son of the late Donald T. and Florence Ann Richardson. Jan was a 1970 graduate of West Scranton High School, a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church and was self-employed.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia, their 10 children and spouses, Jamie and Christine Richardson, Alicia and Mike Poncheri, Jeremy, Corey, Shaun, Devin and Kara Richardson, Kody and Raeanne Richardson, Trevor, Tristan and Ally Richardson, Kimberly Richardson and their 8 grandchildren, his sister, Robin Ann Richardson, NJ, sister in law Sandy Richardson and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jan was also predeceased by his brother, Jeff Richardson.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Linden Street at Mifflin Avenue by the Rev. Fr. Roman Vasylynka. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery in Minooka. Viewing for family and friends will be on Monday, 4 to 7 pm, with a Panachyda Service commencing at 6:30 by Rev. Fr. Roman Vasylynka, in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC., 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton.
