Joyce Marlene Warmkessel
OBITUARY
Joyce Marlene Warmkessel, 91, of Fort Collins, Colorado, died Thursday, February 5, 2026, at her residence at the Gardens at Collinwood in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was the wife of the late Paul M. Warmkessel of Allentown, PA, to whom she was married 47 years. Born in Lower Milford Township, she was the daughter of the late Robert M. and Anna M. (Andrews) Laudenslager of Vera Cruz, PA. She grew up in Vera Cruz, and graduated from Emmaus High School. After her graduation from Emmaus High School, she worked in administrative roles for PP&L, General Electric, and Air Products, Inc., before her marriage to Paul in September of 1956. In 1963 she became an Avon Products representative, and sold Avon Products for 27 years until 1990.
She was a long-time member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Allentown, and more recently of Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Allentown.
Joyce achieved her lifetime goal of earning a college degree when she graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College in 2006 with an Associates in Arts degree.
She is survived by her son, Scott P. and his wife Margaret Zirker of Melrose, MA, and her daughter Lisa M. and her husband James Evans of Cheyenne, WY.; brother Edgar Laudenslager and his wife Jean of Allentown, PA, sister Jane (Laudenslager) Shipe and her husband Larry of Allentown, PA; grandson James V. Evans of Cheyenne, WY and granddaughters Elizabeth A. Lautenschlager and her husband P. Ford of Wellington, CO and Catherine P. of King George, VA; great-grandsons William and Benjamin Lautenschlager. She was preceded in death by her brothers Paul, Carl, James, and sister Jean.
