Authorities have identified an 86-year-old man who died Friday in a Northampton County crash.
The coroner’s office said Francesco Scutari of Towamensing Township, Carbon County, was the sole occupant of a vehicle that was involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer on Route 145 and North Best Avenue in Walnutport around 9:30 a.m.
Scutari was pronounced dead at the scene. His cause of death was multiple blunt-force injuries, with the manner accidental, according to the coroner’s office.
Walnutport police are investigating the crash.
