PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia Police have released photos of a suspect they said robbed a woman of her purse in the Tacony section of the city on Feb. 5.
Investigators said the man approached the woman from behind on Torresdale Avenue near Disston Street just before 5:30 a.m. and pulled her to the ground by her purse strap.

Officials said the suspect dragged the woman a short distance before taking the purse from her shoulder and fleeing. Police said the purse contained cash, the victim’s ID, keys, and a Samsung Galaxy 9 phone.
