Carolyn Donahue, 63, of Erie, PA passed away at UPMC Hamot, on Friday, February 13, 2026 after a courageous battle against cancer.
Carolyn was born in Clarion, PA on July 28, 1962 to Mary J. (Kurpis) and Robert V. Donahue who preceded her in passing. She attended Clarion Area High School graduating in 1980. In 1982 she graduated from Erie Business College. She worked almost 30 years at Erie Family Life, Erie Insurance Group. Her last position was her greatest joy at UPMC Hamot Outpatient Registration.
Carolyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was also avid fan of football and basketball, cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Boston Celtics, and sharing that joy with those around her.
Carolyn is survived by her son Colin R. Donahue and grandson Grayson E. Donahue, both of Erie. She is also survived by a sister and nephew, both from Georgia.
Friends may call on Wednesday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and may attend a service there on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Andrew Church, 1116 West 7th Street, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
