ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Allentown has a new hub designed to give people easier access to city records.
The City of Allentown announced the launch of its new Right-to-Know Data Hub Monday.
The RTK Data Hub offers a centralized platform where users can explore and download frequently requested city records, according to a news release from the city.
City records available include:
City Code Cases – Search any address to see building code violations.
City Building Permits – Locate permits issued for a specific property.
City Rental Licenses – Verify rental licenses for any address.
The city says its goal is to continue to engage the public by making data easily accessible, empowering residents to better understand local government operations, participate in civic life, and foster economic and community development.
The city says it has seen steady growth in Right-to-Know requests in recent years:
2025 – 1,505 requests
2024 – 1,361 requests
2023 – 1,265 requests
As of February 12, 2026, the city has already received 242 requests, compared with 143 requests on the same date in 2025, according to the news release.
The city says this reflects growing public interest in access to city records.
